Car Jack Beats Border Fence

Post by RoyGBiv »

Drug smugglers use a simple car jack to lift the border fence in southern Arizona and smuggle hundreds of pounds of illegal drugs into the United States undetected.

So, I guess we didn't take the 'Weld the steel sheet in place' option...

Automatic weapons fire seems called for.

I'd pay extra tax for an AC-130 on station 24/7. As long as they let it take all targets it sees.

I still think we need to blast a few holes in the ground and put up signs "This area may or may not contain land mines. Feel Lucky?"
And they'll have to rethink their risk/benefit analysis on an individual basis

metal detector, remote control car, forcing people to clear a path at gunpoint... probably not a good idea (using landmines)

I didn't say anything about using landmines
I said use signs
We all know signs work. "rlol"

We just need to paint a line with a sign "Do not cross"
I guarantee it will work on criminals as well as "No guns allowed" signs do.

But those signs contain no implied risk like the ones that say DANGER 150,000 VOLTS
A sign which implies a risk should be more effective.... for a while

Snipers. The new Arizona state militia should have lots and lots of snipers.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

I remember james Garner in "Support Your Local Sheriff". The jail wasn't finished, so he took some red paint and dribbled it outside of the cell, kind of smeared it around and the bad guy asked, "What's that?" In his casual drawl garner replied, "That? Oh that's the last guy that tried to leave the cell without permission." IIRC. The blast holes and signs would be hilarious.
