So we had a little left over from our income tax so I went out and got my first official rifle, up until now I've only owned handguns! So I went and bought a bigger safe, my new AR-15 in 5.56 a fore-grip (and combat sights), and just to give it a try to see how fun it is I bought a slide fire stock to replace the adjustable stock that came with it, when I get out to the range (this weekend probably) I'll give a holler to say how well it works and pictures later of course my wife is asleep and I dunno where her camera is.
Also, does anyone already have a slide fire, and if so is it fun to use?

Lot of fun to play with but accuracy is a little tough to achieve with the slide fire. That said my wife loves it so we have one ar dedicated to the slide fire. Expect your ammo cost to go up dramatically with the slide fire.

No pictures? Type/brand of the AR?
As far as the Slide Fire, if you have never shot full-auto, they can be a novelty. Fun if you can afford to feed it. Of the two folks I know who have purchased them, both sold them in less than a year. It is not for me but that does not mean that it is not for you. If you enjoy shooting with it and can afford to feed it then, in the end, that is all that really matters. Have fun with it and post some target pictures afterwards.

Alright alright alright :)
It's a River Rock Arms AR with Troy combat sights on it and a Magpul foregrip and the ugly slidefire on the back that I hope is incredibly fun to shoot.

I bought it complete at Ajc sports shop. I know the owners son and daughter and some of the employees personally so I shop there for most of my firearms. I did buy the sights foregrip and the slide fire separately.
