Of course here in Denton County, everything is peaches and cream.

That's why I only carry 2 guns. :-)

Most of the recent crimes we have been reporting in Houston occur in places and at times of the day any sane person would not go to, carrying or not.

We do and I have so far been able to avoid it. Despite the lack of the sarcasm font or any smilies, my spidey sense detected some. ;-)

Compared to Pidcoke, Dallas and Houston seem like cities Snake Plissken is trying to escape. (Insert sarcasm smiley here.)

A hotel lobby seems like an appropriate place to check out.

The man's name was not released. Investigators said they were waiting for an autopsy report to determine if the man had drugs or alcohol in his system.

If not, they should check if he's off his meds.

I do like how Dallas at least utilizes their criminals for the city by letting them play football for Jerry. That's good use of druggies and wife beaters right there!

Yep... it's basically like going fishing. I figured it would catch quite a few.

Good on him. If I was working a hotel front desk at 1am, you can bet I'd be carrying!
