I hear rumor that it will not open at all this year or ever again. Can anyone confirm this?

I understand it was closed down for three reasons:

1. Stupid people

2. Trash

3. Lead contamination

I also understand that it will not reopen.

I can understand all of those reasons as I've seen them all.

As far as the lead contamination, well what else is going to be shot, wax bullets?

It will suck if it doesn't open as without owning some private land it was the only place to shoot non paper targets. I never found it difficult to pack a garbage bag to haul away my litter.
