WTT: Yamaha Roadstar (DFW) for Firearms

Post by Shinesintx »

03 Yamaha Roadstar 1600

Around 10k miles and over $7,000 in upgrades and shiny chrome parts. I am selling the bike to buy more guns. Maybe someone would want to do a trade? If you are serious, PM me, and we can talk via cell. I will go over all of the upgrades and explain why I have over $14,000 invested in the bike. The add ons are too numerous to type out. The custom seat alone, is worth over $1200.

I do not want to sell the bike because my wife would want to use that money to update the kitchen. I am looking to get about $7500 worth of guns as a trade.

I know the odds of this happening are slim, but ya never know. Someone may have 7 Kimbers that they want to get rid of. :thumbs2:

In light of gasoline prices, are you sure you want to sell that nice ride? My wife has hinted that we shouldn't sell mine. I, too, had plans to use some of the money to buy a real nice shotgun, but that will have to wait.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Fortunately, my company pays for my gas...so the price of gas is not a big deal to me. I have a 5 year old girl and a 5 month baby boy. I have gotten too skittish to ride the bike anymore. It seems like everyone wants to kill me when I am on the bike. :mad5

It gets about 40 mpg on the highway...so it may make someone happy. Again, I doubt that anyone will want to trade a bunch of guns for it. Who knows, stranger things have happened.

Is that the Ultimate Seat combo you have on there?
I ride the I-635 HOV lane from 75 - I30 most days.
I know all about drivers wanting to run over you.

Yes sir, you are correct...it is an ultimate seat. And yes, it feels like everyone is out to kill me. :tiphat:

Y'all are crazy. I have way more fun riding than I do shooting.
