Luna needs a forever home soon. Sadly one of her owners passed away and the other has moved into a retirement home and their adult kids do not want the responsibility of their parents mini.
MSRH is no longer in a position to commit to seniors, we currently have about 10 seniors in our program and can't accept more.
Luna is up to date on all vaccinations, is heartworm free and is spayed, she currently resides in Austin.
Luna ... S/P ... Female ... Natural Ears ... Docked Tail ... 10 Years ... 20 Pounds ... see her attached photo.
If you would like to add to your family or you know a responsible family member or friend who would enjoy the company of a senior girl please complete an adoption application on line at http://www.msrh.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and mention Luna's name or respond to this e-mail or call 281-358-7303 or 713-298-4999 and I will give you more info on her.
I hope all of you reading this e-mail, especially if you are eligible for a "senior citizens discount", will take a moment and ask yourselves "if my health, financial, or living arrangements changed, who would take care of my beloved pet?"
Please have a contingency plan in place and make provisions for your 4 legged companion(s), the one who loves you unconditionally and depends solely on you.
If you don't plan for their future they may not be so lucky as to have a rescue group save them, but instead may end up in a kill shelter as their last stop on this earth.
Saving one Schnauzer may not change the world but with your help it could change the world for Luna.
Thanks to all.
