Texas DPS Application .Done.

Post by snatchel »

Just finished my TxDPS application, polygraph booklet, and scheduled a meeting with my recruting officer for later this afternoon. I have never dealt with an application quite like that--the polygraph booklet took me about a week to fill out properly because I had to really dig into my background to ensure it was accurate. Holy Molly. Not to mention gathering all of my required paperwork.. transcripts, DD214, etc.

Why do I want to be a trooper? Well..... it has a lot to do with the fact that I get to wear a cowboy hat at work... LOL

Oh Snap! I didn't know you were a DPS officer! I would be thrilled to do a ride-along with ya. They scheduled me for one this weekend here in San Angelo.
