I will be working with her tomorrow afternoon. The husband called and tried to "tell me what we should do" to help her. NOT. I let him know we will start out with a 1911 .22lr to get the basics down and then if she does well with that and likes the feel she can use my 1911 9mm to qualify. (same platform, just a little more ummph) If she feels up to trying my PT111 we can try that as well, notice, no .40 for her tomorrow, and more importantly no hubby alowed on the firing line.
See fellers, that is why I like a 1911 in all calibers.

She will fall in love with the .22 and be confident with the 9mm. I will show her a couple other guns just to help her decide what may be better to carry, including a snubby. When we are done, hubby will be pistol shopping.

Carry safe and carry when and where you can. I'm just sayin'.
