Other than the Iran/Iraq war and the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait (and other than the desire to keep attacking Israel - a non-muslim state), what Arab nations have been at war with each other since WWII?
A bigger question is what Arab "nations" have been/are at war against the U.S. I really don't care what they do to each other as long as they stay in their own yard while doing it.
You started off by telling us they've been killing each other since the dawn of time. Now you switch to "at war against the U.S." My point was that nations/tribes all over the globe have been killing each other regularly since the dawn of time. My post had nothing to do with attacks against us. Those attacks will be, and have been, defended against and paid for, and we will continue to do so. My only point, which was echoed I believe by Beruity, was that we are all human and these conflicts are not unique to any one region of humanity.

I agree with you. Just read an article that Isreal received permission to use runways of a country on Iran's border but the White House leaked the information which has compromised Israel's plans. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/03 ... long-iran/
Looks to me like Isreal is tired of waiting.

Haven't most conflicts, wars, been about power, resources or political ideals and not religion? I know about the crusades but any others? I'll admit I'm not very book smart but it seems that muslims are killing muslims and most anybody else because of what God tells them or because somebody else doesn't see God the same way they do.? I would say these conflicts in todays age are unique. They don't want to wipe Israel off the map or "take out the Big Satan" because of our natural resources. But because of what Allah tells them to.

I believe Obama wants the attack to happen closer to the election (just before the election if he is trailing in the polls or after the election if he has a comfortable lead).

Till date, I do not see the feasibility of taking out the " Big Satan" by any state or non-state entity. Simply, US once feeling real pain will terminate the enemy on the mass. Example, WW2' "Little boy" and "Fat Man"

Russia, planted dozens of said N.suitcases in US and it is still has many under the control of their life-long secret agents in US. None went Kaboom. What if one malfunctioned and who would be blamed???
