I always pull close enough that there is no way a human can get between my window and the ATM.

One piece of advice that my bank has provided is to always leave your vehicle running during the transaction.
That way you can either escape quickly or run over the perp in a timely fashion.

I do all that. Haven't scratched anything yet. I look around during the approach. Doors are always locked on my vehicle whether I'm in it or not. Roll down driver's side window only. (If passenger window is down, I roll it up on approach.) Too close for anyone to squeeze between. I don't even put my vehicle in park (and I'm very careful to keep my foot firmly on the brake). Card is in hand before pulling up, no digging for it at the machine. I know my number and where all the buttons are located. Fast, fast, fast, in and out, gone. Pull away as I roll up the window, then park and put money and receipt in wallet if necessary.

When I pull up to my ATM I always have my revolver out of his seatbelt holster and sitting on top of
my center console, ready to rock. Yes, it's unconcealed for the time of the ATM visit, but instantly accessible in case
some yahoo tried something.

As soon as I finish the ATM transaction and start to drive away, my revolver returns to legal concealment.

You might try the old detective's technique of slipping it between your upper leg (the one opposite your strong side) and the seat. That keeps it both instantly accessible and legally concealed.

Be sure to put the car in park when you do this. I almost ripped my own arm off at an ATM because I leaned forward to get my money and unintentionally took my foot off the brake. When the truck started rolling forward, my first instinct was to try and grab my money from the slot before my vehicle rolled away from it. My arm got snagged on the edge of the ATM and moved backwards in a way I never knew it could move. I have no idea what I was thinking but I can tell you I spent a week remembering it every time I used my left arm!

drive up ATM preferably. This is way I have an additional glock in my center console. Easy access while in the vehicle. Dont have to mess witha seatbelt holstered draw.
