Why not respect their wishes and not carry there? Or better yet, why not just ask the manager what they wish and leave if they don't want you to carry? Doing the right thing is not an easy choice but it is what we should do.

Perhaps their wishes is to create an enhanced charge for those who enter the property without a CHL since the gunbuster sign would create a criminal trespass offense for those without a CHL who carry a gun on their premise. Perhaps its their wishes to prohibit those guys but allow CHLers to ensure their business doesn't become a victim disarmament zone.

Why is it the "right thing to do?" I am not a mind reader. Since the state says if they do not wish me there, then they must place the 30.06 sign up. Since that is the requirement and they didn't meet it, I must assume they intend something else. ASK the manager?? Why? And risk having them to either give me verbal notification so that I cannot, OR even worse, their deciding to put up the enforceable 30.06.

Perhaps then why not ask them what they want? This way we can know for sure?

You must assume that they intend something else? You yourself said you won't ask the manager so he doesn't ask you to leave, isn't that the real reason?

TXDPS website specifies a business MUST put up a 30.06 if they intend you. Look at question number 54 and notice words REQUIRED and MUST

:tiphat:
I make the mistake of assuming folks ask questions honestly too often. A shame that if these folks don't believe in concealed carrying they can't actually engage in honest dialog, isn''t it! Thanks for pointing it out. Can he just be given "the boot?"
