Funny Signs?!?

Saw a sign today in front of a store in Refugio that said "Diabetic Shoes".

I didn't even know shoes could get diabetes.....

I shoulda taken a picture....

My mother told of a sign she saw in Bandera in the 1940s - - - it said "Free Dancing Beer" I have been looking all my life for some of that dancing beer.

Father-in-Law and I were heading to a catfish place in North Dallas that we used to frequent....

Saw a sign for the pub a few doors down that read:

"Free Beer!"

We altered course, got inside and yes... It was the name of the band playing that night...

This sign would be appropriate in Forney and Gladewater, Texas since they are both full of antique stores:

WE BUY JUNK
and SELL ANTIQUES

Of course I always feel badly driving through neighborhoods where the sign alerts me to

SLOW CHILDREN.

The better one, from a humor perspective is "Slow Children Playing", no punctuation.

Not really a funny sign, but an example of location planning. On 75 in Dallas, right around Walnut Hill, is The Casket Store. In the same strip mall, two doors down, is Boxes To Go. I always thought that was humorous.

There is one on a trash dumpster near my dry cleaners. Its says "No Parking! Toll Way Zone!"

They recently fixed the one in Alvin at a shop that did air conditioner repair, but for years it said "We fix cold AC".

I used to feel bad for the Slow Children. Worried they would never amount to much but then I saw a sign one day that changed it all. It said:

SLOW MEN WORKING so I guess the kids grew up and got jobs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
