Unfortunately, too many Californians moving to Texas because of it. Every single one I know is an anti-gun, knee-jerk-liberal. Just sayin. (Hey, at least THIS grew-up-in-California-but-escaped-to-Texas guy isn't one

Ok, but you gotta admit, us sensible ones are the exception, not the rule.

My parents live in the SF Bay area... Most of their friends are conservative, but they're picky about their friends.OldCannon wrote:You see, I KNEW I was gonna catch flak for saying thatsjfcontrol wrote:So, you don't know either myself, or TAM? From what I recall living out there you are mostly correct.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

Then the million dollar question is what can we do to preserve our culture and prospertity. Which are clearly tied to each other

Re: WOOO Texas!
Having been stationed in Northern California TWICE during my USAF career, for a total of 10 years, I can attest that there are plenty of decent folks in California. In fact, I used to go to a really nice shooting range that was only 20 minutes from the Peoples' Socialist Republic of Davis. (They even allowed FMJ rifle ammo to be used, despite having to abide by the stupid California gun laws.) And I always tell people that there are three Californias: The SF Bay, The LA Basin, and the rest of the state...and between the Bay and the Basin (and their little outposts of leftism like Davis), they control the state, to the detriment of the rest of its citizens. Such nice scenery ruined by leftist politics.

There is only one house for sale in my subdivision, normally there are five to seven. And this is the spring when most houses come up for sale.
