Man charged for accidentally firing gun

How do you shoot your gun while reholstering and the bullet goes through a wall? I can see hitting the floor, but the wall? And high enough to almost shoot someone in the head?

:iagree: or he was probably holding the holster in his hand while holstering and had it pointed at the wall instead of holding it pointing downwards.

Maybe he was sitting down.

However, my concern is why was it unholstered in the first place?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

When I go to a hotel. After unpacked and settled in I unholster and place my pistol on the night stand.

I then duck tape the curtains and cracks in the door as I can sleep with light peeking in. :smilelol5:
