There are certainly folks who choose to divide rather than unite, and that is just plain wrong.

That being said, asking what TSRA's position is on an issue seems like a valid question; even if it was asked in an inappropriate way.

Very few people, other than spammers, have been banned since the forum was launched in December, 2004. Those who have been banned violated our forum rules multiple times and most have been warned more than once. Some of those go to other forums and lie about being banned because they don't agree with my position on some issue. With few exceptions, even people who are banned can register again under a new username and participate, as long as they follow the rules.

Seeker_Two wasn't asking any questions; he was lying about TSRA's position on open-carry. He was attacking TexasCHLforum members, he wasn't asking questions. He has also been a problem in many other threads.

TSRA's position (and my position) on open-carry has been made quite clear and there are countless threads and posts that set out that position. If there is anyone who really doesn't know where TSRA stands, they can satisfy their curiosity quickly by searching. It's amazing how any mention of open-carry in another state always prompts a series of OpenCarry.org/LoneStarCDL type of false and defamatory threads and posts. One would think that even the slowest people on earth would realize that attacking people who don't fall in line lock-step with their opinions on an issue isn't going to make converts.

Charles, you are the very personification of what is great about Texas. Cut right to the chase with common sense, don't mess around, get it done. I appreciate the tone you set in this forum.

True...esp. in a truly conservative state that has a state rifle association that is NOT run by a CHL-Instructor mafia..... :rules:

....OK, Texans....are we really as free & RKBA as the rest of the country thinks we are?..... :totap:
That OK can pass Open Carry but TX can't even get it up to discuss in the Legislature?....yep....why aren't you?.... :headscratch
Yep I sure the heck am! Gotta say makes this nativetexan think about moving to OK! I am tired of watching those guys pass pro 2A legislation first while we have to do the Texas Two Step with our so called Pro Gun Legislators!
