His story might be legit. It was foreclosed around this time last year. A house flipper bought it, spent $30,000 on "remodeling" it. I know they did a lot of work (a lot of really crappy work), it was probably the cheapest $30,000 he could have spent.

its still REALLY weird to do that though. Even if he was clean cut upstanding guy (I might have opened the door at least) but I still would have said no to the house tour because I was technically in the middle of a phone call for work.

Detectives believe the victim was shot multiple times after answering a knock at the door. It is unknown at this time if the victim knew the shooter.

My hand was on the gun in my pocket the whole time. Had it been something like the story above there at least would have been an exchange of fire. Yet another story to send the people who wonder why I carry at home.

I get weird looks from my family for carrying at home.
1) I'm practicing.
2) You never know.
Good thing you didn't open the door. This raises red flags for me.

Most home invasions occur at _____.
A) The Mall
B) The Beach
c) The Dangerous part of town
D) Home, duh.
I'll carry at all of the above too, but I avoid any known "dangerous" parts of town.
