And they stressed that this is NOT a class to teach someone how to operated their gun or how to shoot. If you so desire, you can make arrangements for them to take instruction either from yourself or someone else(on your own time & their dime if you chose) and then come back & shoot the qualification course at a later date. Or you can just give them the CHL-100 with the top part filled out only & then when they have had instruction either you (or another instructor) can fill in the bottom portion.

the range is fantastic!!! I want one like it in my back yard!Very well run-very safety conscious-very clear direction. and absolutely no hesitation to remove someone from the line for unsafe behaviour. You MUST know how to fix any malfunctions on your own--you will get no assistance with that

If you are taking the instruction class you should be able to do that anyway or you should not be there.

Unless the instructor is going to follow them around to remind them about the laws, they need to know enough about the laws to pass the easy written test on their own. Unless the instructor is going to follow them around to put more ammo in the gun and clear malfunctions, they need to know how to run the gun well enough to pass the easy shooting test on their own.
