Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG)

Post by SATX-Scrub »

This made for an interesting read. I didn't know this was going on, but this gentleman seems to have done his homework. It doesn't appear to have hit Texas yet, but hey Austin, be on the lookout! I'll have a few words with the Mayors council if any of my tax dollars go to fund these sort of shenanigans.

You see Bloomberg and immediately understand it is really "Mayor Against All Guns", another Anti-Liberty, elitist , over-reaching power grab from our Liberal/Prgressive/Statist/Marxist societal elements thorugh one of their talking heads.

Bloomberg = Putin. Other than nationality, I see literally no difference.

I disagree and take offense. Putin is much more honorable.

Creating civil service jobs to be awarded to cronies is part of the great circle of financial life in the liberal machine world. The symbiosis between the Democratic machine and the public "service" union is long and deep.

Statistically, a member of MAIG is far more likely to commit a crime than a CHL holder.

Maybe they're anti gun because they're crooks and don't want their victims shooting them as they ply their trade? ;-)

Thanks for the link.

Bloomberg, however, will continue to lisp about "gun crime."

The man is absolutely clueless.

For the original poster:

MAIG has made it to Texas. Currently, three mayors are in their coalition. You can make the bold assumption, then, that some of your property taxes fund the MAIG agenda.

Those traitors are (in no specific order):
Lee Leffingwell (Austin... surprise!)
Tony Martinez (Brownsville)
Richard Ward (Hurst)
RLTW!
TX CHL (Formerly licensed in PA, MA, KY)
MOPH, VFW, GOA, NRA, 82nd Airborne Division Association

My buddy in NYC calls it "Bloombergistan"
Do you know that in NYC, if you have a pistol, it must have the pistol, magazines, and ammo locked up in different safes?

Of course Captain Clueless is always surrounded by private security and NYPD at all times.
Hypocrite.

As was former Houston mayor Bill White, until he tried to distance himself from MAIG before the 2010 election where he made an unsuccessful run at the governorship.
