Ohio - CHL in bars - No big deal

Post by JJVP »

No issues since the law passed in OH allowing carry in bars. Law also allows people to carry concealed firearms in restaurants, nightclubs, shopping malls and sports stadiums.

It would be nice. However, I went to a Ranger's game a few weeks ago and I'm not sure there's enough room in those seats for me and my gun on my hip.

Boy, wouldn't that be nice to have here in Tx.
I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

I'd settle for with reciprocity with OH since I go there occasionally. It's the only state I go to that doesn't have reciprocity with TX!

I go there a few times each year, wonder if the Utah non-resident permit would be worth pursuing.

That is what I did. UT or FL give you OH plus they will also pick up WA. VA will give you OH.

Glad to hear you had success with that. I keep hoping Ohio will be reciprocal but in the meantime the Utah option seems good.

Any Utah instructors near Houston?
