Dallas FTF meeting locations

Post by E.Marquez »

Meeting a buyer in Dallas next WED to transfer a gun.

He is coming from Amarillo; I will be coming from Kempner. Looking for recommendations to meet in Dallas, which I know nothing about.

Someplace close to freeways, easy access, not likely to spook the sheeple if they see a rifle in public.

Thanks

I don't know where Kempner is, but I know about Amarillo. He could take Hwy 287 south all the way to I35W in Fort Worth, and he is going to come out right by Cabela's. They have a huge parking lot, and there is also a big truck stop right across the highway from them. I'm pretty sure they see guns in the parking lot every day!

And, you don't have to deal with Dallas traffic, cause you are in Ft Worth!

Kempner is waaaaaaaaaaaay over THERE.
CENTEX, Near Ft Hood..
441 miles to Amarillo, so we are meeting "halfway"
180 miles to Dallas, ...
But If Fort Worth is a better idea for traffic and such... I doubt it makes a difference to the buyer.

Looks like 179 miles to Cabela's... so not bad....
So WED it's road trip to Fort Worth to sell a gun I have had for 12 years :cryin to fund buying a new gun :hurry:

Thanks

I may just lurk around the Cabela's parking lot with a pair of binocs and a notepad on Wednesday just to see if I can catch a glimpse of a Bronco78 in the wild. :smilelol5:

I just checked my address book, and I don't have your phone number anymore. PM me with it, and I'll let you know how things shape up.

You could still be hard to find in the Cabela's parking lot.

Apparently, you weren't clear on the concept when I said "really big parking lot"

But, if you see this truck parked in front of the store, then you know Crossfire is there. Come look for us. We can all have a big gathering!

Why would anybody have a failure-to-feed meeting? :biggrinjester:

Nice truck, Crossfire!

Think I recognize the background!

Where did you get the artwork done?
