West Texas Sheriff's Interview

Post by C-dub »

It's been a while since I've seen this one, but it made its way around to me again today.

A young Texan grew up wanting to be a lawman. He grew up big, 6' 2'',
strong as a longhorn, and fast as a mustang. He could shoot a bottle
cap tossed in the air at 40 paces.

When he finally came of age, he applied where he had only dreamed of
working: a West Texas Sheriff department. After a series of tests and
interviews, the chief deputy finally called him into his office for the
young man's last interview.

The chief deputy said, "You're a big strong kid, and you can really shoot.
So far, your qualifications all look good, but we have what is called an
"attitude suitability test" that you must take before you can be accepted.
We don't let just anyone carry our badge, son."

Then, sliding a service pistol and a box of ammo across the desk, the
chief said, "Take this pistol and go out and shoot:

Six illegal aliens,
Six lawyers,
Six meth dealers,
Six Muslim extremists,
Six Democrats,
...and a rabbit."

"Why the rabbit?" queried the applicant.

"Great attitude, son. You pass," said the chief deputy. "When can you start?"

Is this a true story? Is he still working as a West Texas Sheriff? :???:

That's funny!
"All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing"

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.

Pulling your leg a bit there Bill. :biggrinjester:

My mom used to have the same problem with me growing up. She could never tell when I was pulling her leg. She tended to believe almost everything I told her.

A related joke asks "Why the blonde?"
We declare our right on this earth to be a man, to be a human being, to be respected as a human being, to be given the rights of a human being in this society, on this earth, in this day, which we intend to bring into existence by any means necessary.
