Stafford gun show

Post by rgoldy »

Went yesterday to the first (that I know of) gun show at Stafford Center. Small show put on by Premiere promoter
I think. They are the same outfit that does the shows at George Brown I was told. In any case, a pretty good
show with moderate turn out. Some of the same vendors who are a most shows, and some new/different ones
as well.
8 bucks for ticket but that slightly higher fee was easily offset by no parking charge and pretty east to get in
and out of the lot.
Nice folks by and large. Only a couple of hard heads among the vendors with quick answers to questions that
were more smart ass than information. Not a good way to persuade a potential customer by the way......
I think they are there again in September. It will be interesting to see if there is growth to encourage return
shows. :hurry:

Yah, got 500rds 230gr .45ACP for 190.00. Reloads, but appear to be pretty good quality from a guy in Pasadena. Also saw some really nicely done damascus blades and made up knives from a vendor in Atascocita. Imports blades from Pakistan that are very nice quality. Makes up the knives to order or will sell you blade or blank for you to work up. Lots of AR stuff as usual.
Prices appeared to be on the good side rather than the high side. Maybe as a result of lower exhibitor costs at this venue?
