Its Starting
Heard a bit of news on the radio this morning re the castle doctrine. From what I could get, there is a state rep out of Houston who has apparently said according to the radio he is going to file a bill in the next session drastically changing the castle doctrine and it does not sound like for the better.

Re: Its Starting
Well, then, its up to us to write to our state representatives and senators and let them know how bad of an idea we think it would be to reduce our rights here in the Great State of Texas. This isn't New York or California; one anti-2A state representative doesn't just automatically get their way because they whine and cry.

Unfortunately, I think this happens all too often!

Nothing new. That happened back in March. I don't believe it stands a chance of passing.

We really can't have homeowners shooting and killing robbers inside their homes. It completely deprives them of their right to a fair trial and to be rehabilitated. After all innocent until proven guilty. Can't have homeowners being judge jury and executioner. Its not the English way.

Re: Its Starting
There's a better solution. They haven't been reelected yet.

That's just Coleman being Coleman. His bill doesn't stand a chance in, well you know.

He'd have a far better chance of changing the value of Pi to 3.
I don't fear guns; I fear voters and politicians that fear guns.

Not my opinion, it is what the Texas Law imply:
I have an 8ft high fence, if an actor does not understand that they have no business escalating the fence and jumping over the fence or forcibly trying to get through any of the 3 gates, then said actor is as at loss for something that I can not replace. Too bad for said intruder's family, they will miss the actor for a long time.
