Not quite. The new law requires a conceal carry license unless the person owns or leases the property or is the grandparent, parent or child of the owner and has the owner’s permission. The person must be the sole proprietor of the business to carry a concealed gun without a license on the business property.

So, only gives you concealed carry in your home or business you own. You can carry in car without a concealed permit.

. I felt it was a no-brainer. If you are on your own property, protecting your own stuff, you should be able to carry a gun.”
Unimaginable that it could be any other way, but in some countries, you can't even on your own property

People won’t need a license to carry a concealed deadly weapon in their home or business that they own when a new law goes into effect July 12.
So people could not carry concealed in their home? Does that mean that they had to keep their guns in plain sight inside their homes? :confused5

I believe it is more the fact that it is extending the capability to the grandparent, parent or child of the owner of the home. It also extends the capability to a business owner in their business if they are the sole proprietor.

Sure they could carry concealed in their home. It's always been that way in Kentucky, even before concealed carry laws.
