Vacation to myrtle beach, sc

Our first long trip is in the books. Both myself and my wife carried during the trip. We travelled from Texas to S. Carolina for a beach vacation. I know we both felt at ease knowing our weapons were near. I had consideed my wife's bg380 a bit small, however it was nice being able to drop it in a holster and put that in my pocket. Our only issue was the condo had a no gun sign at their main office, so I never carried there, just to and from our room. It was a hassle looking up other states chl laws. The signage is much different and less clear outside of Texas. So I erred on the side of caution if I saw a no guns sign I didn't go, and I only saw two. During this time my primary carry was my sw 38 spl with a crossbreed iwb hoster. I had my sw 1911sc e series as well, but my holster for that hadn't arrived by our departure.

I wish I had my chl years ago. I felt safe and secure out on the road. Better late than never!

Yeah, the beach was nice.
