What happens when one politically correct notion collides with an opposite politically correct notion? Disastrous chaos if you’re the pessimistic type, but hilarious comedy if you’re an irony fan.
Well, I teared up over this one...one "protected group" vs another "protected group"...but there is obviously a hierarchy to the groups. And by teared up, I meant I got a good chuckle out of it...this is just the sort of thing that the leftists are bringing to this country, if they are allowed to get away with it...they mean to use "multiculturalism" to break down the social norms of the nation, as they did over there, so it can be supplanted by leftist/socialist/communist thought...but now it has come back to bite the hand that fed it. No matter how good their plan is, it can't cover everything.
As hilarious as this is (and it's pretty epically hilarious), stuff like this happening here will just expand the divisiveness currently gripping our country by reigniting the debate over whether, not races, nationalities, or religions, but cultures can be superior (or inferior, as the case may be).
Speaking of which... The topic of "culturism" came up, IIRC, when I was (briefly) in college in CA. One of the students commented about how some people were trying to revive the Mayan culture, to which the teacher replied something like, "And should they succeed, volunteers for the requisite human sacrifices will no doubt be supplied by UC Berkeley, since their the ones pushing for it."
If this happened in the class I think it did, I miss that teacher... she was fun.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

If you don't believe that some cultures are superior to others, try examining the gang culture.

Oh I do believe that some cultures are superior to others... IMHO it's pretty hard to come to any other conclusion. But it's clearly not PC to have such views, which is why I think this'll end up being just one more thing we, as a country, argue about.

I know you do. I should have said "If a person doesn't believe ... "
We have a couple minding their own business. Shopping. Not bothering anyone.
Someone comes along and verbally harasses them. The nice couple ignores the jerk.
The jerk escalates it to a physical confrontation. The nice couple don't respond physically. Instead they call the cops to let them handle it.
I think the busy body jerk should have been convicted and sentenced to time served. Nothing gained by having taxpayers support her but she deserves to have this on her permanent record. It might even make other busy body jerks think twice about phyically escalating their abuse.
