Stevie's renewing...Everybody run for cover!

Post by stevie_d_64 »

We'all...

Looks like I'll take El Gato's renewal class on the 31st...Including "Wife-Unit's" renewal...And a newbie (co-worker) as well...

The last renewal for me took 17 days from mailbox to mailbox...

Something tells me its not going to be that way again, unless somebody knows something I don't...And thats pretty much everybody...

So we'll start the clock on April the 2nd, 2007 and see what happens...

Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised...

If I am still waiting to get my new plastic in the second week of August...

Stevie may not be too happy or pleased...

I mailed my renewal Monday March 12th. I got the "Return Receipt" showing they received it Thursday the 15th.

I'll let you know how many days.

I renewed my driver's license over the internet and charged it to a credit card yesterday. It took less than 10 min. It said I should have my new TDL in 15-20 days. We'll see how that works.

Aren't computers and credit cards great? .................... OE

Yeah they are...

But I have not really stayed on top of the average renewal licence time in a while...And the initial licence times I am assuming they are still flirting with the 90 day turnaround window???

Or for the most part are the initial licences going over the turn around point???

I believe I got lucky last time and caught the investigators and processors on a good week...

Stevie,

You better hop the DPS does not read this site. They might turn you down 'cause you are such a radical.

That reminds me of the joke that ends with...

Doctor on the phone: "You'll have to suck the poison out."
[Buddy hangs up phone]
Snakebite victim: "What did the doctor say?
Victim's buddy: "He said you're going to die, man."
