He apparently doesn't like police much, based on a brief comment that's in the video, but in general, he gets it right.

It seems as if the interviewer is trying to demonize guns, his line of questioning linking guns and the CO shooting. He asks Ice-T at 1:09 "it make's it easier, though, doesn't it?" and he quickly replies "not really, you can strap explosives to your body - they do that all the time" with his eyes and body language saying he's absolutely correct.

Thanks for posting, TAM.

and to think he was almost crucified for his song Cop Killer. He seems to have a good grasp on things if you ask me. artistic expression is just that. he was trying to make a living just like the rest of us.

god bless.

Well, he does take a very brief swipe at police in the video.....unless he was making a reference to "police state" and not just "police." I'm willing to concede that point if that's what he meant. OTH, he does have a history with "Cop Killer." His answers were spontaneous and off the cuff, and he wasn't given much of an opportunity to expound, so maybe it wasn't as smoothly delivered as they would have been if he had sat down and written the answers out in advance.

But, I DO appreciate that there is someone in popular culture who stands up for the 2nd Amendment for what it really is, and not what panty-waist liberals want it to mean.

Maybe? But I think everyone grows up sooner or later.

Ice-T, born Tracy Marrow, lived an American dream. Broken family; marijuana, stole, pimped served in the U.S. Army and honorably discharged, self-admitted bank robber [see NPR - The Adam Carolla Show on 6 June 12].

He overcame his adversities and earned success as a musician [not my genre] and actor.

An American -- who has learned lessons that go back to the very beginning of our nation.
Perhaps it is time for more Americans to learn of our history, rather than another's weird-vision of it.

And the interviewer portrays his shock and dismay by refusing to answer a question, stuttering, and then just silence.
