Dumbest Bumper Sticker
I just saw a not so nice looking guy driving a not so nice looking vehicle with the bumper sticker that said:
Heavily Armed
Easily "Made Mad" I changed it to "made mad" to keep this family friendly.
I can only imagine a LEO stopping this guy for a traffic infraction and seeing that bumper sticker. Pray he doesn't have a CHL.

Re: Dumbest Bumper Sticker
It seems like there's more and more of those idiots running around every day. Like old Ron White says, you can't fix stupid. It's a sad state of affairs we're in. So many people with no common sense, and very little of any other kind of sense. You're right though, all we can do is pray for folks like that and try to keep some distance from them. I'm really old school about a lot of things and it doesn't sit well with me when I see some of the crap on bumper stickers. Sorry for the rant. Have a good one.

Re: Dumbest Bumper Sticker
I agree. No bumper stickers. Only window stickers.

Re: Dumbest Bumper Sticker
No stickers for me.
Some are funny. Some are really funny. But, no stickers on my vehicle. I wouldn't even have a registration sticker if the law didn't require it.

Re: Dumbest Bumper Sticker
I was thinking about putting a "Save Our Planet" sticker on my 4x4 King Ranch F150...

See? That would be funny, but the less people driving around know about me the better.Shinesintx wrote:I was thinking about putting a "Save Our Planet" sticker on my 4x4 King Ranch F150...

Is that like... "I wouldn't belong to any organization that would have ME as a member"?Dave2 wrote:Yep... Too much potential for me to make my cause look bad.C-dub wrote:No stickers for me.

That was a fan favorite in California, usually found riding shotgun to a "Coexist" bumper sticker (which really meant that Christians needed to be tolerant of everything and everybody else).Excaliber wrote:Tops in my recent collection of bumper sticker inanities is this one I saw on a car during a recent trip to (where else?) Re: Dumbest Bumper Sticker
Agreed. I spent some time many years ago working on Special Operations C-130s. We used to get a LOT of briefings before going places, but the gist of all of it was they wanted us to get into town, do what we had to do, and get out of town with little to no fuss...and the less information you spread about yourself, the better. I think that kind of stuck with me.C-dub wrote:See? Re: Dumbest Bumper Sticker
The "Baby Aboard" window thinghy always piqued my curiosity.

Re: Dumbest Bumper Sticker
Baby on Board was actually helpful for a few people, for a short time. Then they morphed into other little placards, like, Ex-Wife in Trunk. I used not to mind putting some bumper stickers on the rear of the car, but those were the days when the bumpers were chromed, and you could cleanly peal them off. Now everything is painted and the sticker can destroy the paint, so, no, no thanks. My plates are such that anyone with an internet connection can locate me, but after 30 years or so of this, I have never been bothered nor anything stolen from the car. I don't think people pay much attention to anything on the rear of a car. Excess though will do it. This past week I pulled up behind a 4-Runner whose back end was completely covered with stickers for everything from the Outer Banks of the Carolinas to STP. I figured it would cost a grand to peal them all off and repaint the rear of the car.
Re: Dumbest Bumper Sticker
Its not a hard and fast rule, but I've found that a good general rule is less bumper stickers=less crazy.
1 or 0 bumper stickers=normal folk
2-3 stickers=a little eccentric, but probably fine
4-8 stickers=believes in at LEAST 1 crackpot theory, and may tend to mumble to themselves
9 or more= should be institutionalized.
Edit: Strangely enough, this works for "number of cats owned" as well.
