I suppose it was that way statewide from what I have read and seen on the news, and eyewitnessed. Don't know how many stores they have in Texas but I would have to say they raked in some bucks today for a record. Good for them!

I think nation wide. I saw some pics from Chicago.

It was indeed nationwide. I had friends in Illinois that made it a point to go.

That probably explains why I was able to find ample parking at Wendy's for the CFA next door. (Note: I ate at CFA).

I think its awesome how it turned out. They attacked two of the 3 things most americans hold true. Right to free speech, and right to religios freedom. I don't eat there very often due to the cost and my appatite, however I much rather support them then McDonalds who is now posting help wanted in spanish, and many times they can't understand me

Ah, new business model. Make Rom Emmanuel mad so that he comes out against you in the press. Couldn't hope to get served in Lewisville.

Don't get me started with retail clerks not knowing the language. My wife needed some medical treatment and we were at the Subway at the corner of Fannin and Old Spanish Trail in Houston. Looks like a new store. Reminded me first of the old SNL routine of cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger, chips, no fries..... my wife has allergies, can't eat regular bread, and wanted the basic contents of a sandwich, without the bread. It could be considered a salad, but she didn't want any lettuce either, just the other veggies. The three jerks working there spoke just enough English to take a basic, STANDARD, order. Anything else was met with a stare. They could not figure out what she wanted. She tried her Spanish on them to no avail. I tried mine and they just looked at each other. Maybe they spoke some rare dialect or something, but they had no business trying to sell sandwiches. We left and went down the street about a mile to another Subway that was English friendly. No problem.
