TV interview tonight

Post by wgoforth »

In light of the recent Denver shooting and our Brownwood/Early shooting, I was interviewed by KTAB TV of Abilene about the Texas CHL program. I have no idea of how they will edit it, as it was over an hour interview. 6:00 tonight on KTAB tv, or you can stream it live at 6:00, or find the video up later this evening at http://www.KTABtv.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Only thing she got wrong was changing my saying IL is the only state that doesn't allow CHL, to being the only state that doesn't REQUIRE a CHL. Other than that, good job on her part.

Great interview. However the info babes had a few mistakes at the end. One said that Illinois was the only state that "does not require this license" Should have said that Illinois is the only state that does not issue CHL's. Then at the end the other one said that it cost $100 for the CHL in Texas. It is $140. Your part was very good.

Oh and the other guy interviewed made sound like the CHL class was just a good idea, rather than a requirement.

Agreed... in the interview she did with me though not shown, I explained ILL being the only state not allowing any form of CHL, and that somehow got translated into not requiring. BUT, she is talking about getting her CHL and doing a news story series of her process. I told her I would do it for free if she would let me do it.

A great positive piece of informative newscasting! I watched it twice!

Thanks guys... I know everyone always feels they look and sound awful on TV, but at least some good info, although hers was not 100% accurate, was offered.
