The ALS is a unique new design that locks into the ejection port and is operated by the thumb once the SLS is released.
Retention Holster Suggestions?
Re: Retention Holster Suggestions?
So, it locks onto the ejection port. The thumb switch is on the left side of the gun and the ejection port is on the right. I wonder how that works. I might have to take a trip over there this weekend to check it out. I like my Serpa, but if this works well and holds the gun closer I might like it better.

Look at a Bianchi 82. Like most of us I have a drawer full of holsters but the Bianchi is the only one I ever use any more. There is really nothing about it I don't like. It's the only holster I have that works just as well with a regular belt as a gun belt. There are reviews online and I have not read a bad one yet.

Safariland is the one I recommend also.

After my visit the the showroom I talked to my brother and explained the options as I saw them. He's going with a safariland 6378.
Mission accomplished. And I even found a new "toy store" to visit in the process!
Thanks again for all the help and suggestions.
