Not that this is a 100% thing, but I got out one of my Ruger owners manuals...they list laws like that for each state that has them...I didn't see Pennsylvania anywhere in there. Terrible, what happened to the kid.puma guy wrote:I posted this already in Charles' main topic thread and realized it should be a new post.
I am passing this along from a prayer request chain from my Sunday School. I only have the boy's first name, Ayden. He's 8 years old and the nephew of one of our church members. Sunday Aug 5 he found his napping father's pistoland shot hinself. The injuries are quite extensive hitting his kidney, bladder, both intestines, his rectum and a femoral artery. He's undergone surgery for the injuries, but will be undergoing further surgeries from what the request stated, and remains in serious condition. The email only stated that it occured August 5 in Pennsylvania where the boy lives. I drilled down and found an accidental shooting in Point Township, Northumberland Co, PA that fits this incident. Not much detail nor information as to any charges. One article made it sound as though PA has no law like Texas holding parents liable for unsecured firearms. I know as a father no law could be as severe as the pain and sheer emotional agony he is going through. My prayers are for him as well.
