Stolen bicycle...by me...

Post by gigag04 »

Ok, not really - I just got the deal of the century on a new to me road bike. I sold my Specialized Allez back in 08 after completing some sprint Tris....

I started CrossFit back up at the end of June, and looking to move towards the CrossFit Endurance curriculum and start Tri racing again. As such, I wanted a new bike, but on a shoe string budget (baby on the way, and paying cash to finish the degree). Picked up this Felt F90 for $315 today, and it came with shoes that fit, CO2 tire repair kit, and camelback bag (no bladder of course).

I'll be adding aero bars and replacing that hideous saddle sooner than later. I'm also going to get the Abvio iPhone compatible cycle cadence computer to interface with the Runmeter app I use. I'll also probably splurge on some decent shorts and comfy jerseys. My helmet expired, so I'm looking for a deal on one too.

Amazing! I'm looking for an entry level road bike, and the local place here quoted me about $700 for a Trek 1.1.
