Nice to meet other folks waiting impatiently.
My wait is a little longer than it might have been.
I put my stuff in the mail July 30th. It just went to Background Check Under Review today. (8/10/2012)
I actually took the class June 16. I had filed the app on line a couple of weeks earlier and already had the pass-port photos and finger prints done. Taking the class I realized that the license is good for 4 years after your next birthday. Mine was coming up on July 29, so I waited until the 30th to mail my stuff in. (Just wanted to be sure they didn't date it by the post mark.)
I've got my DR Lic #, and SS # memorized from logging on.

some one wrote about website updates and they update in the morning at 6:00 automatically so by 6: 30 if any update was done you will see it ,,,of course Sundays and Mondays you will not see any activity whatever is done in one day will be reflected next day I been trying not to check it for days it was driving me crazy.but hey good luck ,,,.

Not true whatsoever.
Many peoples statuses have changed Saturday night and Sunday morning.

If I had to remember my last couple years of reading on here and what I personally and others I know experienced, most of the updates were Sunday morning, Tuesday (or Wednesday) mornings.

Were the other days, sure, but I think they batch out their updates, and they only do the major portion of those on certain days.

And no, the DPS isn't saying which.

I stand corrected, , and back to checking every 5 minutes ,, I used to do it once in the morning ,, not any more..
