Why do I want a CHL?

Post by glockstero »

Why do I want a CHL? Listen to the group that Obama's Attorney General dropped voter intimidation charges from for standing in front of a polling place wearing military garb and slapping billy clubs in there hands in Philadelphia.

Did ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, New York Times, USA Today, Houston Chronicle, etc. report on this? Ask yourself WHY? And then ask yourself why EVERYONE doesn't need to be prepared to defend themselves and the people they care about.

Why do you need a fire extinguisher?

You may NEVER need to actually use it. But if/when the time comes, you need to have one and know how to use it to save your life and the lives of your loved ones.

:iagree:

One of my favorite quotes is from a book I read called "Charlie Rangers" written by a couple of Army Rangers who served in Vietnam. One of their compatriots was a Brit named Scotty serving in the US Army...they said he constantly reminded them "It is better to have and not need, than to need and not have". I carry because I agree with Scotty, and with you.

Thanks. :tiphat:
I carry a high dollar fire extinguisher in my vehicle to protect myself when needed and also to help anyone else as necessary.

My pistol is carried primarily to protect myself, but I will help others as necessary if I end up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

You don't need one, you cannot carry at a polling place anyway. :rules:

I would think that audio is a pretty good example to any clear thinking individual.
