Your experience with High Noon holsters?

I am looking at a High Noon IWB holster for a Glock. Have you used / do you carry such a holster? (Doesn't have to be for a Glock, but bonus points if so). I've only ever had kydex (Comptac Infidel) holsters for my other guns. Thinking of switching to leather for my first holster for a new Glock.

Questions:

Do the High Noon holsters really fit well? They say they're custom molded, but just wanted to hear real world experience. Is retention ever a problem?

Anybody tried their combo IWB/tuckable holsters? (ex: Split Decision, Closing Argument). If so, does the fact that the clip is separated from the holster (to make it tuckable) make it any less secure against your hip when your shirt is untucked?

How about cowhide vs. horse hide?

Any other thoughts in general about their holsters?

I have several High Noon holsters. My favorite is the Down Under with straps. I bought the horsehide so I have no experience with cowhide. It is stiff and has good retention. I prefer black leather, but it's only available in natural color. Since it's IWB, it isn't that much of a compromise. I would recommend it.

I also have two Bare Assets which I bought as stock items until I could get my custom holsters. I don't care for soft holsters or clips, so I wouldn't recommend them.

I will add that they have very good customer service. Their staff seems to understand that good customer service ensures repeat customers and referrals.

Everything I hear about their holsters is good. However I had an email exchange with them awhile back, I was just asking a couple of questions, and the unprofessional and insulting responses I received were way out of hand. I have too many years in customer service to ever do business with people with attitudes like I experienced in that exchange.

This is just one man's experience. Your milage may vary.

I own a couple of High Noon holsters they are well made. I have nothing but good things to say about the service and the product.

Over time I have owned, taken in trade, wore, sold, several. High quality production line holsters. You will have to go to a custom build to do any better.

I've ordered three holsters from High Noon and love all of them. Great product at a fair price.

I have a Mr. Softy that I used for a short time for a PPS until my comp-tac came in.

Not a fan, really, though it's no fault of the holster. Production quality, price, and delivery were all fine. It just doesn't have enough retention to make me comfortable with it. It's a stock holster, though, and not customized for the weapon, so again, no surprise.

I'd been told several times that serious people often get a whole drawer full of holsters they don't use. I've got a good start on mine, and the M.S. is in there.
