Police shoot and kill man at 1:30 in the morning who answers his door with a gun in his hand pointed at the officers. Police officers did not identify themselves, when they knocked. They were looking for a murder suspect in the same apartment building, but as it turns out, a different address.

Maybe before opening the door you say, "Hello whose there, what do you want"
