Personally the problem lies within Mexico. They can't fix their problem or are scared to protest over there.

Re: thoughts on this?
I'd tell those "Caravan" folks to take it up with Holder. He's the one who was approving the illegal sales of weapons to the cartels.

Apparently these folks believe that Mexico's security problems are the responsibility of the United States. They are proposing that the U.S. make guns illegal, make drugs legal, and send billions of dollars to Mexico to help them repair their crime ridden society because it is our fault anyway. I am not joking, that is honestly what they are proposing.
Sadly, I am certain they will encounter many people across this great land of ours who agree with them.
I get a little annoyed at people who tell me that the 5.7 on my hip and the AR in my truck are the reason they can walk the streets safely in their own country where guns are banned and glue huffing street thugs impose their will on the citizens.

They come and b***h at our laws yet ask for political asylum at every chance they get. Once here they still refuse to pay taxes like everyone else.
Re: thoughts on this?
so they suggest the alternative, to give criminal organizations more freedom? Since Mexico is restrictive with Weapons, they want USA to be too, so the Criminals will control here more and leave them alone? Giving more territory to rule doesn't make an empire go away and leave the original conquered area alone.Sicilia told council members about the pain and suffering caused by Mexican President Felipe Calderón's push against criminal organizations in the country, which has led to the deaths and disappearances of tens of thousands.
That's their problem to vote him out ... unlike illegal aliens voting here, we don't get to vote out their President.pain and suffering caused by Mexican President Felipe Calderón
Here's an idea. If they kept their drug guys at home and put them in prison and stopped selling the military/police weapons Hillary sells their military and police to the cartels, and they employed/gave jobs to the jobless to build THEM a wall between here and there ...
I'm no lawyer

MEXICO CITY — Mexico chose as its new president Sunday Enrique Peña Nieto, a dashing, disciplined campaigner who promised to bring peace and prosperity back to a country weary of drug violence and slow growth, according to official results.
As the new face of a political party once known for corruption, Peña Nieto and his Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), completed a remarkable act of political rehabilitation, returning to power after 12 years on the sidelines.
