Stop the senseless slaughter

Stop the senseless slaughter.

Contact your congressman today and demand common sense Coffee Cup legislation.
I want to point out that the woman bought the murder weapon LEGALLY! There was no waiting period and no background check. Any nut job off the street can apparently just waltz into a store and buy a coffee cup. We need to be sure that all coffee cup purchases are registered with the proper authorities and sold only after a thorough background check. They should also be limited in capacity to 8oz. or less.
All vessels designed for 10oz. or larger should be completely banned. There is no legitimate need for that capacity for the average citizen. There is also no legitimate need for a handle on these devices that will accommodate more than two fingers. All liquid containing vessels with a capacity of more than 8oz., handles that will accommodate more than two fingers, or are adorned with cleches, photos of grand children or cats, should be classified as mugs, and banned.
If we don't act, nobody will. It's up to us.

That certainly points out the fallacy of the whole gun control argument, doesn't it.

Well done, sir. I "borrowed" it for a facebook post - I have classmates that need your wisdom

Since I drink espresso I don't have to use a large mug, but I do, because it's more comfortable, and I can only get two fingers through the handle as it is, but those little espresso cups, I can't even get one finger through.

As long as you don't try to take my mugs away from me, I have plenty to last for a while, so go ahead and outlaw them. :reddevil

I put it on my Facebook too.

Does this apply to home brewed coffee?
Do I need a tax stamp for a coffee mug in my own home?
Do I need a Concealed Coffee Lincense if I put my coffee in another container?
What if I grind my own beans? Am I a manuafcturer?
What about using a straw? Is that considered a silencer?
Be without fear in the face of your enemies.
Stand brave and upright that the Lord may love thee.
Speak the truth always even if it means your death.
Protect the helpless and do no wrong!

Ahhhh. The Chris Rock model. Repeal Gun Control, enact bullet control. OP was calling for Cup control, not coffee control.

An old preacher once said "It doesn't take near as much water as you think to make a pot of coffee"
But personally I favor the HI CAPACITY cup
I put 2 to 6 heaping tablespoons of instant coffee and chicory in it.

This has gone too far indeed.

First we have the coffee cup murder. Now we have more evidence of the dangers of not only coffee cups but coffee itself:
http://washington.cbslocal.com/2012/08/ ... ot-coffee/
ARLINGTON, Va. (CBSDC) – Arlington County authorities say a local hotel was robbed after the thief threw hot coffee at the front desk clerk.

Police told the Washington Post that after dousing the Arlington Best Western employee in the scalding liquid, he proceeded to steal cash from the drawer behind the counter. ...
Call your congressmen and demand they do something to rid our nation of this senseless danger.

Oh the humanity! :biggrinjester:

If coffee and coffee cups are banned then only criminals will have coffee.
Gun control is like stopping drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to drive.
