San Antonio woman sues Wal-Mart for ripping up $100 bills

Post by Keith B »

Man, this should be a good jury trial!! :smash:
A Texas woman says she was humiliated when Wal-Mart employees tore up two of her $100 bills, mistakenly believing those Benjamins were counterfeits.

No surprise: A lawsuit is pending.

I read about that yesterday. They were really cruel to her so I say an exponential repayment is in order. Perhaps walmart will take some additional time to train it's employees better.

On a side note $250 for a car....ouchie...poor woman

:iagree: Two new crisp $100s and a WalMart Gift Card will probably be fine. ;-)

They should deduct the settlement from the paychecks of the cashier and manager.

I would settle for something out of the gun cabinet, and my two $100 bills of course.

A lady at 7-11 tried to pass a 5.00 in front of me and my woman said she seen the same thing at a different 7-11. They assume that small bills will not be noticed

Isn't Wal-Mart an Equal Opportunity employer?

Maybe some of the the "Walmartians" we've all seen in our e-mails are actually employees in drag?
