Schools, Hospitals, Gov buildings

Post by 1s1k52 »

I am bored and actually sitting in a hospital for about the millionth time in the last 2 years. My daughter had surgery (shes ok) but sitting here since 6 AM at Plano Childrens Medical Center I can't help but wonder why some of the places are 30.06ed?

I just kind of feel uneasy. I dropped my wife off on the college campus a few weeks ago and was more "uneasy" than most the places I go.

Hospitals do because they have hospital pharmacies with drugs there like where I often carry, Walgreens has , and you know "what happens when you add guns and drugs to the mix" (whatever that means, I think it makes a cake mix crunchy or something .. what mix? asphalt? concrete? corn bread mix?)
Schools have children, and kids and guns don't mix (blenders aren't powerful enough to liquify either)
Gov buildings (State/City/County, not including Federal) are generally not 30.06ed, but those which are off limits in Texas, like Courts, probably are trying cases of people who attempted to add kids and drugs and guns in a mixer, so I avoid them anyway.
Federal Bldgs, like Post Offices, want only employees to "go postal", it's an employee benefit or perk or something..

Yeah it was more or less a sarcastic post wasnt their just a hospital shooting in chicago or something? a few months ago? I am to lazy and the in
ternet is to slow for me to do my research. Visited the Great Wolf Lodge recently to discover they are "off limits" kind of disappointing as fun as that place is. I saw NOTHING inside that gives them a good reason I guess I can't expect everyone to be a responsible gun owner even IF they have a CHL. Although my 2 year old sees my guns from time to time and says "gun daddy nor touch" my 6 year old could care less because its been in her life since day one.
