Another member to point out that in TEOTWAWKI light bulbs will only be useful to those who have generators and stockpiles of fuel, unless flashlight bulbs count and then there is the whole battery storage issue.

I can't believe that nobody has asked for a citation on the NEC (national electric code) as it pertains to recessed bulbs. Probably wasn't a big deal because recessed means recessed.
