I know, right? I saw that after ALL that other crap, they promoted him to sergeant. At that point I quit worrying about the "good" citizens of Opa-locka. They are obviously idiots who deserve what they get, if that's a measure of what they are willing to settle for. I'm guessing that he'll be rehired soon.

If bambam gets re-elected we can expect to see this guy as the nation's top cop.

You'd think they would have never hired the guy in the first place. I know guys with way less than that who have had a hard time getting a law enforcement job because of something pretty minor in their background. Heck I know one guy who was investigated but never charged let alone arrested for a crime he honestly did not commit. He applied at two agencies before he just gave up and moved on with his life. Both times he'd fill out his background form and about a week later he'd get a letter stating they were not going to continue the hiring process.
My posts on this website are worth every cent you paid me for them.

As with any job, various agencies/departments/companies have different hiring standards. IMO, better working conditions, higher salaries, better benefits and promotional opportunities attract better candidates. The more selective a company can be, the less chance of making a poor hiring decision.

Is this America's worst cop? I traveled to a few blue states and I can say, "No. Not by a long shot."
