Remora + Extended Mag Release + Glock = :(
Today when I removed my holstered gun I noticed the magazine was out slightly. I have a Glock 29SF with extended magazine release and was carrying behind my right hip. The unintentional release happened during the course wearing the gun. As you can imagine this is unacceptable. It seems that Remora is not compatible with extended mag releases.
I'll have to put a stock release on and see if that fixes it.

Yeah, Remora Holsters are great. I have a few of them. Extended mag releases are the at-fault here. While they make reloading easier for those of us with small hands, they are also a liability. I have thought about putting them on a few of my Glocks but never have because I figured that would happen when the gun goes in a holster.

Oh, and while I am thinking about it--If you have a leather or kydex holster, you can use a dremel to cut out a little where the mag release meets leather or kydex. This won't be possible with Remora without compromising the cloth interior.... don't know if this will help or not.

The extended magazine release always causes problems. The extended slide release still works great though.

Ok thanks. I guess it's good that I didn't find this out the hard way. I emailed Remora because this is not listed on their FAQ. Might seem obvious but I never thought about it.
