Has Obama been listening to too much RAP Music?

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Has Obama been listening to too much RAP Music?

Post by puma guy »

I saw where Obama called Romney a name that can not be used here. An expletive that has a derivation from bovine feces. I am appalled that such language would be used in any political discourse, but to see it uttered about a rival by a President is incredulous to me. Of course he's the guy who called Republicans "the enemy". Not much coverage, which is normal; just like the non-coverage of his fiddling while Benghazi burned.

I don't think there's any comparison.

We've already voted. We didn't vote for him in '08 and we sure as HECK didn't vote for him this past Tuesday. If he's elected again, so be it. It must be God's will, eh?

If yall think that is bad....don't look at his new ad. It would not be permitted in this forum either. Totally classless. If he think this is going to make women like him he has got another thing coming.

The only thing I've found Obama has not lied about is this:
“If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from. You make a big election about small things.”
Forget JFK's affairs, Nixon's "I am not a crook" and Clinton's cigars... Obama has brought the office of POTUS to a new low. The man is desperate... using tactics from Venezuela's Hugo Chavez bag of tricks. Unfortunately, a good number of our fellow citizens fall for that kinda stuff.

I don't agree with puerile name-calling, (and I would include referring to the president as "Odumber" and similar japes) but the history of dirty campaigns in American politics goes a long way back. Check out the Jefferson/Adams race, for insight into what was probably the first really negative campaigns.

It makes me just as mad as when Bush called a reporter a bad name, or when Cheney told a sitting senator to go do something vile. When I say it makes me "just as mad" I mean that none of the incidents bothered me. They are human beings, sometimes we say mean things to each other. Not a really big deal.

Just curious, other than the President being black, what does rap music have to do with this incident? Racist much?

The current POTUS has done more to divide this country than has ever been done since The Great Unpleasantness of the mid-1800's. Call it what you like, but racism is a multi-edged sword.

Perhaps it is because he went on a radio talk show recently while we have extremely serious issues going on and talked about rap music. No racism there. I would irritated and annoyed beyond belief if he had gone on a radio show and talked about Toby Keith and Willy Nelson too, and you should be too.

He seems to have picked up a little shuck & jive in his speeches lately.
