Plantersville Renaissance Fair Legal Carry

Post by ID10Tpig »

Hey everybody, new here. Next Saturday I will be going to the ren fair with my family. I have been researching as to whether or not there's 30.06 signs and I can't seem to get a straight answer. So for everybody who wants to go in the future and legally carry, I will let you know if there is a sign. Also will check for metal detectors. The last time I went was when I was 12 maybe, so I don't remember anything having to do with handguns lol
Anyways, wish me luck. I will let yall know what's up

Good news! I carried with no issues, no metal detectors or 30.06 signs. So for anyone considering carrying there, go for it.

There is an active thread on the Texas Re-Fest in Todd Mission/Plantersville/Magnolia.

I went on Oct 20 & couldn't find ANY signage relating to weapons on the grounds (30.06 or otherwise). I've heard that some of the individual booths that sell alcohol are posted 51%, but I don't drink so don't usually go to those and couldn't tell you if they are or not.
