After they've watched it, ask them, "IF the Constitution permitted a sitting president to run for a third consecutive term, after what you already know about him, and in the light of this video, would you vote for him for a third term, and if so, why?"

You will be making some of your friends angry, because the ignorant and the apathetic are unable to process cognitive dissonance, and evil runs from the light, so they will obfuscate. But if any of them are intellectually honest people, you may be able to add to the resistance Obama MUST be confronted with in his second term so that he doesn't sell us down the river, lock, stock, and barrel.

election after election the american peoples are forced to vote for the lessor of evils. thist years was no better. The republican party put up a person that isolated himself from so many large groups of voters it not even funny. isolated the hispainics,the jews, the gay comunity, pro womans right to choose, the blacks, im sure i missed a few in there.
bottom line is the republican party should be ashamed of their selection this go around.

It's not going to do any good.

You want some cognitive dissonance? Exit polls show that 3% of the people that voted for Obama (that's 1.8 MILLION people) want Obamacare completely repealed. That's almost Obama's margin of victory in the popular vote. 27% of them want SOME of Obamacare repealed. That's a Republican landslide of epic proportions.

In what world do you reside where you want a President's signature legislation either completely are partially repealed yet you vote for him to remain in office? Either they're lying or they're terminally stupid.

This election proved one thing. The American people are terminally stupid, and only a disaster (which is on the way) MAY change their minds. And I'm not holding my breath. They'll probably blame it on Bush.

I made this EXACT (almost verbatim) statement to a friend/colleague yesterday.

Ok. So a (Very) liberal friend of mine insists that no one in the video makes a claim that Taxes will not be used to pay for Obamacare...

First let me say, that this guy is a great guy, a VERY smart man, and I hold him in high regard even though his political views are jacked up.

He watched this video and said this: "Scott re-watch the video and carefully try to find a place where Obama says that "Obamacare won't raise our taxes"...it does not exist. There are lots of claims about not raising a lot of taxes but no where has anyone said that Obamacare won't raise taxes...there is a point at which the Supreme Court determines that the fees are in fact a tax, but who ever said that "Obamacare won't raise taxes"???"

So, I watched it again... And right there it is around the 5 minute mark where he is arguing with George S. about it... Am I missing something, or am I reading too much into his words? I certainly don't think so...

The administration originally called it a penalty, and Pelosi said it was a fine......until they went before SCOTUS. Then they argued that it is a tax. The court concurred that it is a tax, but Obama says it's not. I've read the sections of the legislation relevant to the fines. The legislation calls it a "penalty." It's all just another strand in Obama's web of lies.
