@jayinsat - I had the same idea. However, I found one last month and put it on lay-a-way. I finished paying it off last week and picked it up :clapping: . I even convinced my wife I needed to try it out :fire , you know, just in case it did not work :biggrinjester: .

I am happy to report it is nice, real nice. Now I have to put it away until Christmas. :cryin

But I don't think Santa Claus believes I have been good this year because I don't think she will bring me one :smilelol5:

Less Obama on TV and more people spelling the 'late December religious observance' as CHRISTMAS!
LOL

Seriously though...when my kids write their letters this Christmas, should I have them address them to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. instead of North Pole?

Dear Santa,

I've been very, very good this year and I would like to ask you for a NightForce NXS scope for my .308 rifle.

Thank,
LabRat

I just came across a sale on Patagonia cashmere scarfs, (in this instance, they're finer than Hermes...) and bought two.

One for my wife, (no, I don't buy obligatory gifts, i.e., Christmas, birthday, etc. but when the mood hits me I love to ...) and one for my daughter.

Never understood the hype about NF....... then I bought one on a whim and put it on my 308. I now understand that it is not hype.

I'm going to have to get a laptop. Not something I want to spend money on, but my 5year old HP died and I can't revive it. My better half, however, is probably getting a new rifle. He looked at a Stag Arms last weekend. Don't really know much about them. He's a lefty so his options are kinda limited.

The same thing I wanted for my birthday THIS month, and didn't get. A new president.
