Hello everyone,

I've meant to post before now but...well...life happens.

I thought that I would post my timeline for others as I DO KNOW how hard it can be to wait for that State of Texas Offical Business envelope to appear in the mailbox.

10/21/2012 CHL Class
10/23/2012 Prints done and documents mailed to Austin
11/07/2012 CHL website showed docs received and BGC pending (the excitment grows!)
11/15/2012 Background check completed manufacturing pending
11/17/2012 Manufacturing completed
11/26/2012 Mailed
12/05/2012 CHL and hand.

So...I guess it took a little longer than some but I think it is about average. I've lived in 3 states over the last five years and I expected it to take a full 60 days. Maybe it helps that I'm a Son of the Repulic? Not sure. All I can say to those still waiting hang in there as hard as it may be.

Oh! One other point. My wife sent her docs in 3 days after I did....her CHL showed mailed at the same time but her license wasn't in todays mail.
